Thankful

Happy Thanksgiving!

We celebrated our first Thanksgiving with Annive on Thursday at my parents' house with my parents and brother. Annive watched the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade with Grandpa and watched the Cowboys football game in her football outfit with Uncle Andrew, Dad, and Grandpa. She had her first experience eating meat and seemed to like turkey. We all went around the table and said something we were thankful for this year. When it was Annive's turn my mom asked, "Annive, what are you thankful for?" Annive turned to me, smiled, and reached her hand out to me. I know she didn't understand the words in the question, but my heart melted when she did that. And I know she's thankful for me.
