Annive will be 5 months old on Sunday. We can't believe how quickly time has flown since Annive's birth!
Tummy Time!
She had her first play date on Thursday with a high school friend's son who is 2 months older. They were adorable with their "conversations" to each other, and he made her laugh out loud--a first for her! She's trying to sit up on her own and is "talking" a lot now. One of the new favorite things is singing along to songs, and she smiles often.
Snuggling with Daddy
This Saturday, September 4, marks the 4 year anniversary since I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. I call this my survivor day because it's the day I became a survivor. I am amazed at all God has done and am especially grateful that this year I have my miracle baby. When I was diagnosed we were told my chances for having a child were basically 0%(ovarian cancer survivors are rare to begin with and ovaries are very important in the baby-making process) but God, in his infinite grace, gave us our precious little girl. We are truly blessed!
